Learn How to Record Your Genealogy!

Genealogy TreeFamily history is something to be proud of. Learn how to make your own family history and genealogy through a class provided by the Cary Senior Center in the Town of Cary. This five-class course will teach students how to use the software program Millennia Legacy 7.4 Deluxe. Students will learn how to import genealogy information from different formats or from scratch, and from there create a family file that can be shared with all. Basic functions include citing sources, creating reports and charts, adding pictures and maps and videos to the file.

A flash drive is required for this class (1 GB or larger). These may be purchased on their own or at the front desk of the center for $10.

The course is taught Monday, Wednesday and Friday April 23rd to May 2nd. The time is 9:30 am to noon.
